Parent Advocate Program
The CARES Parent Advocate Program is a free program that provides advocates for families who need assistance navigating the disciplinary process, or any other situations within schools. Apply to be, or request the services of a Parent Advocate below!
Many times, parents & guardians may be unsure of how to advocate for their student. Our Parent Advocate Program consists of trained parents & other community stakeholders who's ultimate goal is to help you advocate for your student in a way that works best for you. This program is free of charge, and services include but are not limited to:

Education on what rights you and your student have during the school disciplinary process

Emotional support during the disciplinary process

Advocacy during meetings & hearings

An extra person during meetings to take notes and/or ask questions you may have missed
