STEP - UP 2 SUCCESS

STEP-UP 2 SUCCESS is a transformative mentorship and performance-based program that empowers disengaged high school students to reconnect with their education through the art of stepping, academic support, and one-on-one mentorship from Binghamton University’s X-Fact’r Stepteam. By combining creative expression, academic focus, and personal development, the program inspires students to build confidence, foster connections, and achieve success in school and beyond.

Mentor Qualifications:

• Must be a member of X-Fact'r Stepteam

• Experience with mentorship, tutoring, or working with youth

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills

• Commitment to fostering a welcoming environment to diverse teenagers

Student Responsibilities:

• Ability to attend 85% of practices and performances

• Commitment to attendance in school

• Willingness to work hard
